THIS ONE WAS SOLD/TRADED, BUT I HAVE AN EXTRA ONE WITH THE FLAT SLANTY BASE. 4/22/03 Lets trade CAL for CAL ! I am offering the hard to find California hoopskirt variant nicknamed the Taper Top. It differs from the regular hoopskirt in its more slender dome and lack of shoulders on the skirt. I have found them with two different smooth bases: a flat slanty base and a rounded base. This is the rounded base sub-variant. They have only been found in this blue color. There are two pings on the upper wire ridge-- one widen into a small flake. There is also an internal fracture a little less than a half inch also on the upper wire ridge. A minor underpour has created an interesting rippling effect on the base. This one has very decent dome glass with a thin milk strand over the top.
