The Hamelin Pool Telegraph Station museum, and its owner John Taylor,.

The large framed photograph in the background, with the ladder leaning against a rather crooked pole, is of a certain local lineman named Adgee Cross. Also known as "the naked lineman". What the photo doesn't show here is Adgee himself, in his full naked glory, wearing only a pair of boots, servicing the wire atop the pole

So far, I've not yet located a full view of this photo. The story has it that Adgee had to swim across the Murchison River to reach the location, and he did not want to get his clothes wet, and since the area was so remote and isolated, he decided to work on his tan at the same time ;-) He swam across the Murchison carrying only his ladder and his boots. Apparently someone in the area had their camera ready and waiting ;-)

Location near Shark Bay, Western Australia.

If anybody is in, or near, this location in Western Australia, I'd really like to see better close-up photos of the displayed insulators, and perhaps the full, uncensored photo of Adgee Cross in all his "sunworshipping glory". I could cover up or "fairbrush out" his "naughty bits" if any are showing ;-)
