My dad, Tom Herron, called me today and told me he had made a cool insulator find and wanted to see if I would agree. Little did I know what he would come to the house to show off!!

Here we have 4 EC&M Insulators that also were mounted to their original pins!! All were in EXCELLENT condition, with hardly any base damage or chips, knicks of any kind. I was absolutely FLOORED when he walked in with them. The pins were also in excellent condition!! And they had the original wiring!! WOW!!

He got them at a flea market in North Carolina, just outside of Cherokee. The guy he bought them from knew little of insulators and had previously acquired them from another vendor who needed the cash.

How much did dad pay for all 4 pieces? A grand total of $40. Yes, you read that right, $10 a piece!!

Keep looking at those flea markets and antique malls, you never know what you will run across!!

If anyone has any information about these and possible values, dad would greatly appreciate the information. I'm not up on EC&M mold types, so everyone out there, please send any info you have to me so I can pass it along to him.
