Last Friday I decided to follow up on an insulator lead I had gotten at an antique show from a few weeks ago. It was a gamble and a long shot, as I did not have much information to go on other than the words "there's this weird looking clear one". My sixth sense finally got the best of me and told me that I needed to go and check it out. So I jumped in the truck well before day break and began heading west towards Vancouver, Washington. By late afternoon the same day, I found myself pulling back into my driveway much happier than when I had left. Seen above is what I came home with. It is a HEMINGRAY CD 128.4 [020] in clear that is filled with light, white, milky swirls that seem to dance with excitement inside the body of the insulator! The overall condition of the piece is as about as good as they come. Who ever said people do not posses a sixth sense? Rest assured, it wasn't me...
