Many of you that attended, probably remember this welcoming sculpture as you entered the Ft Collins National in 2002 put on by Mike Bliss & Mike Gaudy. This work of art was made by Bill Swets of "Swetsville Zoo fame" just for the 2002 National and now resides full-time in his Sculpture Zoo. I stopped at the zoo for a visit last week while up that way and took a few pics for the recent "insulators in art" discussions on ICON. Mike Gaudy supplied the insulators, pins and concept.... and Bill made them come to life. Pretty cool huh?
