This H.G.Co. seems to be an average every day common beehive with the exception that it is not a smooth base but has an uncharacteristic continuous drip base. This picture shows the base where both edges of the base are flat and the continuous drip is centered. Link to the front view: [id=235756025]
Is this a new discovery?
I have had some positive input that it is a new discovery and some rejection of it not being pronounced enough to justify the continuous drip designation.
I feel it is a continuous drip as it seems to satisfy the requirements of having a flat lip on each side.
