FIVE ELMER RINGS...

Elmer was a town with several glass houses that operated in the Upper Works, and the Lower Works, sometimes by different companies. The top of the pinhole has a little ring leftover from the machining of the threaded mold core which is attributed to glass insulators made in the Elmer Factories. Lots of Star insulators were probably made there for General Electric.
