This is the first of a small series of photos taken near the old Winnipeg Hydro power dam. These photos are from the town used to house the workers, the dam iself is 6 miles away and is only accessible by the 6 mile long Hydro Tramway. Winnipeg Hydro was sold to Manitoba Hydro in 2002 who has run the town since. At the time these photos were taken, Hydro was beging a townwide rebuild from the Wpg Hydro 12 KV Delta to 25 KV Wye which has included the changing of almost every pole.
