Wilf after 5 days of digging McMickings. Wilf and Margaret Secord discovered the site in 1974. Apparently the site had been cleared for use as a log sorting and loading area. After recovering loads of broken McMickings, and some good ones, it wasn't until 1983 that Wilf discovered the location of the old cabin about 50 feet from where they had been concentrating their efforts. Many other collectors also dug this site.
