Insulators Now Carrying Morse Telegraph Circuit

Some years ago I found some very old IRON wire on the Erie RR's pole line between Hornell and Olean, NY. It was so hard that it could not be cut with large lineman's pliers, but easily broke with a few flexes. Here is a piece of that wire (with insulators) now carrying our No. 502 Morse Telegraph circuit in "SW," our basement telegraph office.
