Here is a close up of the "lash-up". We used metal shipping bands to secure the temp pole to the stub. This turned out to be a very tight, albeit ugly, attachment. The hole for the new steel pole and it's concrete pad is visible and had just been dug recently. As much as we like to "play around" at this museum....this turned into a real life, real-time job!
