A Tillamook P.U.D. power pole breaks into 2 pieces due to the 129 MPH winds that hit the Oregon Coast on Dec. 2 and 3, 2007. This was only one of many poles and trees that went down in this storm, supposedly the worst in 50 years! This particular pole is a mile from my house in Garibaldi, OR. Many houses and buildings suffered damage from this "whopper" but we were lucky and had no house damage. To see what we did get damaged, click next!
