This is another view of the U-988 Slashtop. The crackle effect can be seen better in this picture. Note the slash on the side. There is another slash on the top of one ear just like this one. Also, more of the wire rub from the tie wire can be seen in the shadows just below the top. Other than the slashes, the insulator is unmarked.
