For some of you who are new to the hobby, a few people have been collecting insulators for decades, fewer yet from the beginning. Going to shows, pulling practical jokes, and one of the best (worst?) the whole time has been Jerry Turner. He moved just as I took the shot, so he's blurry, but that just proves he was scooting along pretty well. If you see him at a show, ask him what the Hemingray-42 award was all about.
