This picture is from Google Earth mapping out the old SCL, (Seaboard Coast Line) in Sarasota County, Florida. The abandonment is just under 25 miles, and most of it, especially through the Oscar Scherer State Park, is like a rails to trails. The picture shows the start and end of the line, and the begining and end points are just what I plan to Bicycle sunday. The junkyard is alongside the railroad.
