This is a Centerpoint Energy power pole located northwest of Iago, Texas. Notice the two dead-ends just below the crossarms. I can remember driving past this pole in the spring of 1988. At that time, the two dead-ends were outfitted with two suspension disks each (probably Lockes or Victors), and the arrangement resembled a bow tie. With the upgrade to polymer insulators, the look is not so dramatic, but it's still there.
