4 KV Dips

This picture looks back east in the direction I came. This pole is the third pole seen in the last picture and shows the first of the 4 KV dips dropping down to go South underneith the alley I'm standing in to go to the the substation behind me. This pole also shows the newer standard of 24 KV construction used from the late 60's to the late 80's and also contains grey clamp-tops from the late 70's/ early 80's and the brown clamp-tops from the late 60's when this type of configuration first came into use. The newest standard is phyberglass crossarms with 3 wires (one circuit) on each arm held with grey unipart 25 KV insulators.
