Picking in the Old Days

This was shot down around Alamosa. An eastbound freight disrupts the picking. On the right is the RR telegraph lines. These sported blobtops and Denver beehives, amongst others. To the far left is the main toll lead to Santa Fe. This line was loaded with incredible glass. And on the far right, note the odd little farmer line pole! Those were the days!
