This subject comes up from time to time, and it seems more often than not, people mislabel something else as a "flared skirt" No.9

Now, there are plenty of old No.9's with flared skirts, like the one on the right. But when tossed up next to the "genuine article", one can clearly see this weirdo looks way more like a WGM 106 (with its wildly flared skirt and funny dome cap) than any other Hemingray No.9, making it THE "flared skirt" No.9, and the rest just Hemingray No.9's with flared or slightly flared skirts.
