The following eulogy appeared in the Waterbury, CT paper:

Albert "Al" Way, 53, of Cooper Drive, Waterbury, CT died Wednesday, Dec. 7, at his home. He was the husband of Virginia "Ginny" (Hathway) Way.

Mr. Way was born April 29, 1952, in Waterbury, CT, son of Isabelle (Venter) Way of Wolcott, CT and the late Douglas Way. He was a graduate of Warren F. Kaynor Regional Technical High School, class of 1970. He worked as a tool design manager at Utitec Inc. in Watertown, CT for 30 years. He was a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, the National Insulator Association, and the Yankee Pole Cat Insulator Club. Mr. Way's hobbies included collecting insulators, computers, golf, skiing and camping.

Besides his wife and mother, he leaves three brothers, Douglas Way of North Carolina, Peter Way of Wolcott, CT and Louis Way of Watertown, CT.

Arrangements: Memorial service was held Saturday at Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High St., Thomaston, CT. Private burial will be in the spring.
