Here is a small sample of the colorful marbles by Sam Hogue. I was able to visit his shop in Ellenboro, W. Va. on August 4, 2005. The hour and half spent there was very educational. Sam made it look so easy. But, having over 40 years experience in the glass industry helped to make it look that way. Sam is well known in marble collector circles. A search in GOOGLE will produce many sites that carry his work. Well worth checking out to see examples of the talent this gifted artist has. There are a few eBay dealers that also sell his marbles and paperweights. You owe it to yourself to visit his shop if you are ever in the Ellenboro, W.Va. area. His shop is located 1 block off of old Hwy 50 as you go thru town. Can't miss it, there's a large sign to help you get there. From a hot molten gob to an exquisite piece of art, Sam Hogue has a talent that produces beautiful keepsakes for generations to come.
