I think that's an aftermarket light for a trailer or tractor. This one looks similar to the one on my old T0-20 Ferguson. Worked great, whenever it was dark and I'm messing with the hitch or something, I'd turn it on and had plenty of light.

Thought it was neat because the glass lens is "Sun Colored Amethyst"
