Okay, it may not be insulators but it was a great hunt none the less. Galen Howard arranged a beautiful day on the Colorado plains that yielded several nice birds. The best shooting of the day came from "Dead Eye" Ross Baird who rarely missed and even got a scarce black pheasant. I got my first bird and managed not to shoot anything I wasn't supposed to. Jack Roach provided lots of laughs and told a bunch of great stories. It was a ball.
