Italian Insulators

Over fifteen styles of high and low voltage insulators were produced by Fidensa, S.A. and are embossed FIDENZA.

Another company, Manifattura Isolatori Vetro Acqui Terma S.p.A. produced at least twenty-five styles, including those for both telecommunication and power use. These units are embossed MIVA or MIVA ACQUI. There also some connection with Corning Glassworks of New York, as they were granted permission to produce PYREX glass insulators.
