Leonard Lee Linscott

Leonard Lee Linscott, 59 years old.

Born May 2, 1938 in Yerington, Nevada; Died January 11, 1998 in Titusville, FL.

Parents, both of whom are deceased, were Leonard Augustus Linscott and Betty Estelle Bassman. Both the Linscott and Bassman families were early settlers in Nevada.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Jacqueline C. Linscott; two sons, Ronald Linscott and Donald Linscott; one daughter, Laura Leigh Linscott Bledsoe; one grandson, Jimmie Clayborne Bledsoe, III; one brother, Robert Linscott, of Olympia, Washington.

He was a member of the National Insulator Association and had held various offices in the NIA including President. He hosted two NIA National conventions in the Orlando area - one in 1977 and the second one in 1992 and several Regional shows. He was active member in many of the Florida antique bottle collectibles clubs and participated at most all of the shows.

Among his collections were insulators, bottles (esp. Brevard County bottles), space memorabilia and cachet envelopes, coins and numerous other collectibles.
