National Insulator Association Commemorative Insulators

National Insulator Association Commemorative Insulators The National Show glass commemorative was begun in 1970 as a private venture by Frank Miller of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Each year the base embossing (location of the national show) and glass color has changed. In 1979, the project was continued by John McDougald of St. Charles, Illinois. Beginning with the Houston National in 1988, the dome of the commemorative was also embossed.
