Lone Star Insulator Club

(Texas)

The Lone Star Insulator Club draws its membership from Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana as well as many other states around the country. They have approximately 50 members. Single or family dues are $10.00 per year. The club newsletter, Lone Star Lines, is sent out about 4-5 times per year prior to a scheduled meeting, swap meet, or show. Club meetings are usually held as part of a Saturday swap meet at a member’s home in the Houston, La Grange, Austin, San Antonio, or Dallas- Ft.Worth areas. Two shows are held each year, one in April in Bedford (Dallas) and one in August in Houston. LSIC is a family club with a December Christmas pot luck dinner meeting and swap meet each year, too. At the National Show each year, the Club presents the N.R. Woodward Literary Award for the best research article.
