VTS Industrial Co. was a Salome, Arizona telecommunications salvage company. The owner, Steve Hilsz had these made in South Korea as a novelty advertising paperweight for his customers in 1977.

This example is Dark Ruby Red that doesn't pass light well except in the skirt area. You can see darker swirls in the skirt as these sometimes have. No issues on the piece at all.
